About Us

The South Oklahoma City District blends urban ministries with small town and rural ministries. Several universities (Oklahoma University, USAO, Oklahoma Baptist University, St. Gregory’s University) within the district and other in near-by areas serve the higher education needs. The SOKC District is a very diverse district culturally, geographically, demographically and economically.

The Churches of the SOKC District, for the most part, mirror the diversity of the region. There are churches in county seat towns; urban, city churches, all south of 23rd Street in Oklahoma City; two large churches in the metro area and several medium sized throughout the district; numerous small churches, both rural and city, totaling 50 churches. The geography of the district covers portions of Oklahoma, McClain, Cleveland, Grady, Canadian, and Pottawatomie counties. Our website seeks to introduce you to the churches of the SOKC District!
